Armond Budish for State Representative, Ohio’s 8th House District
Armond Budish sought the services of Melamed Communications to develop a winning strategy for the May 2006 Democratic Primary. A number of strong potential candidates considered entering the race. Melamed Communications developed an aggressive strategy to discourage potential opposition by building early support from key community and political leaders, raising significant campaign contributions and building a strong campaign organization.

Relying on its long experience in Democratic campaigns at the state and local level including managing Lt. Governor Lee Fisher’s 1998 race for Governor, Melamed Communications helped make Armond one of the top three fundraising Democratic candidates in 2006, even though it was his first run for office. He out-polled the combined total of his four opponents and immediately became identified as one of the rising stars of the Democratic Party in Ohio.
